Elliott Oppenheim
The Author
Waiting for Winter is my life’s ouvre, my life’s work; fictional memoir; five novels.
How did this happen?
At 75, I have been blessed with good health and believe that I will live to 100. Kaleidoscope is the first of the five novels, published in 2013 by a publisher who went bankrupt, leaving me with many sales but no publisher.
I am looking for an agent, a serious agent who can sell Kaleidoscope and now Medicine Man, nearing completion. Interested? Call me: 406-531-0879.
I am a physician and lawyer, although I do not practice either profession, but consult in medically-related litigation, mostly criminal defense. I am also a professional trumpeter. This is
my literary website so let me tell you about what I am doing. I started writing professionally when I was in high school, publishing news articles for the then Levittown Times in Levittown, PA, about 30 miles north of Philly. I worked for WBCB, a local radio station and developed a weekly radio show for Pennsbury High School, in Yardley, PA.
In college in Los Angeles I worked for various radio stations and in medical school started writing pieces about becoming a doctor in various medical publications; some scientific; some
social.
Over the decades, I have worked on films, contributing medical insights in plot-related story twists, and medical blood ‘n guts details. I have lived in eleven US states, speak four languages, and have traveled world-wide.
I began writing Kaleidoscope in 2009, publishing in 2013. The publishing company went bankrupt a couple of years later and the novel has languished since then. Agents are hard to find,
especially an agent who will take an interest in my work and promote my work. If you are an agent and may be interested, please get in touch! I’ve said it twice …
Medicine Man is well underway but the hard part of writing is not the writing part; it’s the thinking part, as any writer knows.
My hope is that I will someday complete Waiting for Winter. I am in good health and write daily.
I grow hay on my ranch in Montana.

COMING SOON
